Kent wanted to move out of state to be closer to his grandkids, and I was so honored when he chose me to sell his house!

This was in the summer of 2021, when the market here in Brighton was at the peak of its craziness. I helped Kent stage his home and get it ready to show. We also priced the home strategically to get the most attention from the biggest pool of buyers we could.

When it came time to put the house on the market, the response was overwhelming. We had 8 offers the first weekend it was on the market, and I fielded 30+ phone calls asking about the house! I helped Kent evaluate all of the offers he received, looking at all of the terms, not just the price. There was a big misconception in the market craziness of 2021 that houses were just “selling themselves”, but in truth it takes a lot of skill and experience to get the most amount of money for a house, even in markets like that.

We ended up choosing an offer that both of us felt confident about. The buyers were awesome to work with, and this transaction was just a breeze. Kent moved out, the new family moved in, and Kent is thrilled with his new life closer to his grandkids in Minnesota.
